Howard Garden Social Centre

Welcome to the Howard Garden Social Centre!

 

Howard Garden Social Centre has been serving the older adults of Letchworth and the surrounding area since 1953.  It was one of the first centres in the country to provide a hot meal service, which still continues today. We are a registered Charity and are run by a Board of Trustees. 

 

Our key objective is to support older adults within the local community who may be suffering from loneliness, or social isolation, by providing facilities and opportunities for social, physical and mental recreation, to improve the wellbeing of older people in the local community. We believe older adults have the same rights as everyone.  We respect their individuality, independence, privacy, and dignity whatever their background.
